About Us
The žžTV Pre-Law Society is dedicated to supporting students who are interested in pursuing a legal education and career. Our primary goal is to help žžTV students successfully prepare for and gain admission to law school. We foster a shared commitment to learning about legal traditions, public policy, and diverse perspectives within the legal field, while upholding our guiding principle: Fiat Justitia Ruat Caelum—“Let justice be done though the heavens fall.”
Throughout the academic year, the Pre-Law Society hosts monthly events including workshops, informational sessions, and speaker panels. These events feature law school admissions representatives, attorneys, judges, law students, and alumni who provide insight into the law school application process, LSAT preparation, and professional experiences within the legal field. We also hold member meetings that create space for discussion, mentorship, and peer support related to law school preparation and legal careers.
Membership
Membership is open to all žžTV students and alumni who maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Active members are expected to attend at least half of the organization’s monthly events or meetings each year to maintain their membership status. The membership fee is $25 per semester, and applications open at the beginning of each semester and remain available year-round.
